What should the system do—and what should it refuse?
ETHOS describes the ethical and normative boundaries of the PROTO-AXIS architecture. It connects values, responsibilities and applicable requirements with the conditions under which an agent may act.
Its focus is human oversight, explicit constraints and accountable decisions. Together with ONTOLOGY and LOGOS, it explores how principles can become understandable rules, how conflicts should be surfaced, and when uncertainty should trigger review before execution.
